Saint Leo the Great School

Welcome to St. Leo the Great School, a Pre-K through eighth grade school where education, service, and faith combine to provide each student a foundation of high standards in knowledge and ethics.

As a Catholic elementary school, St. Leo the Great School’s teaching philosophy is guided by the belief that each student is a unique gift of God, created with special gifts and talents. It is our goal to nurture and develop those gifts to the benefit of the Church and the community.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

For adults wishing to join the Catholic faith, or for Catholics wishing to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith, you may want to join the RCIA program.

RCIA is a program designed for those who are not members of the Catholic Church, including the non-baptized, those who were baptized in another Christian Church or adults who were baptized Catholic but never received the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation.

The process begins with an inquiry period, followed by religious instruction needed to understand the teaching and tradition of the Church. Full initiation into the Catholic Church is celebrated at the Easter Vigil.

RCIC – The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children is comparable to the RCIA except that it is for children who wish to join the Catholic Church. Instruction is directed to their level of understanding.
